About German American Committee of St. Louis, Missouri

St. Louis, Missouri, is one of the largest strongholds of German-American heritage in our nation. The German-American Committee of St. Louis, was officially founded to preserve, educate and promote the German-American heritage of St. Louis.

The German American Committee is an umbrella organization of all the German-American organizations in the greater St. Louis region. Founded in 1983 when America celebrated the 300th anniversary of the first permanent settlement by Germans in the America.
